The Public Procurement Service announced on the 23rd that it will sequentially visit the Asian Development Bank, the Philippines, and Kyrgyzstan from the 27th to the 30th to conduct high-level interviews.

The purpose of this overseas visit is to identify global trends in public procurement, focusing on the Asia-Pacific region, and to support the government's export revitalization by targeting Korean companies' overseas procurement markets, including innovative products.

In particular, the Korean e-procurement system ‘Nara Market’ is expected to make inroads into Kyrgyzstan for the first time in Central Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States through this visit, which is expected to help strengthen the establishment of an international e-procurement network.

On the 27th (local time), a business agreement (MOU) between the Public Procurement Service and ADB will be signed at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) headquarters in Manila, Philippines to expand the spread of the Korean-style procurement system and electronic procurement system in the Asia-Pacific region.

The two organizations will discuss ways to strengthen the public procurement capabilities of countries in the Asia-Pacific region through the exchange of K-Procurement's technological capabilities and competitiveness, including innovation and excellent products and ways for Korean companies to enter the procurement market in the Asia-Pacific region and secure sales channels.

On this day, Director Lim Ki-geun of the Public Procurement Service plans to meet ADB Vice President Bruce Gosper in person and have a wide-ranging conversation on ways to exchange and cooperate so that our innovative and outstanding companies can serve as a driving force in revitalizing the ADB procurement market and improving government services in the region.

On the 28th (local time), a bilateral meeting will be held with the Philippine government in Manila, Philippines to discuss ways to expand overseas demonstration projects for innovative products and improve Philippine public services through official development assistance (ODA).

Following the bilateral meeting, the two countries will check the operation status of the portable.

On the 30th (local time), we will visit Kyrgyzstan, the Alps of Central Asia, and sign a business agreement (MOU) with the Kyrgyz government to export a Korean-style electronic procurement system.

The Public Procurement Service expects that Nara Marketplace's entry into Kyrgyzstan will prove the excellence of Nara Marketplace, which has been exported to nine countries around the world and has been recognized for its technology, while also serving as a direction for strengthening the transparency of electronic procurement in developing countries and spreading an anti-corruption culture.
